Cuscuta
The Chinese name for this is “Tu si zi”. “Zi” means seed. 
Chinese Medicine Indications:
Tonifies the kidneys, augments the yin, secures the essence, reserves the urine. For deficient kidney yang with symptoms such as: impotence, nocturnal emission, premature ejaculation, tinnitus, frequent urination, sore painful back, vaginal discharge.
Tonifies the kidneys and liver, improves vision. Tinnitus., blurred vision, spots in front of the eyes, dizziness.
Benefits the spleen and kidneys, stops diarrhea. For diarrhea or loose stools with lack of appetite from deficiency of both spleen and kidneys.
Calms the fetus. Important for habitual or threatened miscarriage.
