I am Nationally Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. I have a BBA from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas.
In 1995, I suffered a repetitive stress injury from typing all day in cramped quarters. I had tendonitis, inflamed wrists, inflamed nerves in my arms and a nerve compression in the shoulders that caused me to lose control of my hands.
I had constant daily pain and went from one doctor or specialist to another trying to find an answer. What I found was that modern medicine did not have a cure for this problem. Strong pain medications were prescribed, which had no impact at all on my pain level. Their answer was that I would have to live with the pain.
I was not able to work in the same profession and was in constant pain. I would not accept the answer that there was no cure and I would have to live with it.
I started researching herbs and supplements and started getting acupuncture. I am now pain free!
